About Me
Hi. I’m Gary Speer. I’m a writer. At this point, most of my writing has been religious journalism and “regular” journalism. Specifically, I spent seven years as news editor of a weekly denominational magazine, and before that seven years as a newspaper copyeditor. Oh, and I’ve spent most of the last 20 years doing freelance writing/editing for religious publications.
That was all then and this is now. Now I’m striving to discern and fulfill just what the Lord has in store for me as a novelist and a blogger.
Harumpf! Yes. I know that sounds terribly pretentious. Nevertheless, that’s the plan.
Another part of the plan involves much more mundane activities: How to make a few bucks to live on until the great novels are finished and published.
