Our late-January ‘thaw’ has me thinking less of writing, more about travel

Here’s a useful website for you today if you’re mind, like mine, is more on getting out to enjoy a late-January “thaw” than on writing — “Trusted Tours & Attractions,” a company I know I’ve mentioned on other blogs. But I don’t think I’ve shared the site here before. As you might suspect from the company name, the website is devoted to sightseeing tours, and they offer a huge selection of fun trips and tours in most of the country’s major cities.

They also offer a great travel “eNewsletter,” called the “Trusted Travel eNewsletter,” you can sign up for. Currently, they’re offering a chance to win a handheld GPS if you sign up for the newsletter before January 31. It’s free to sign up, and you can easily unsubscribe at any time.

I’ve looked around their website a lot, and I have to say I personally would enjoy some of the great fun they offer with their San Francisco tours. I have only been to San Francisco once, when I was a teenager. Our family went through San Francisco on a trip along the California coast, and I’ve never forgotten the city. Trusted Tours & Attractions’ San Francisco packages include guided tours of the city, visits to the infamous Alcatraz Prison site, and even a trip on the Napa Valley Wine Train.

So whether you’re living where winter’s just getting started, or where the worst may be over — or even where you have no winter at all — if you’re thinking more about traveling than writing right now, take a look at Trusted Tours & Attractions. Of course, if you’re a travel writer, or want to start writing travel stories, their site would be a great place to begin.
