Time marches on — and I want a grandfather clock to keep pace with it
One of the special wishes I've had since I was a kid was to someday own a grandfather clock. Okay, I'll be honest -- if I were rich enough, I would love to have several grandfather clocks. Singular or plural, I've just always been eager to own one of these beautiful timepieces.
When I ran onto this clock website, I just enjoyed looking at these beautiful furniture style clocks so much I wanted to show them to you. And, well, after all, you know what the bane of all writers is? That's right -- deadlines. Just look at the beautiful clocks you can find at "1-800-4clocks.com" to help you, uh, CLOCK those deadlines. (Sorry. I couldn't resist.) They have a huge inventory of clocks of all sorts and sizes including a beautiful selection of Howard Miller Grandfather Clocks. Howard Miller Grandfather Clocks are among the most sought after and highly valued collectibles of these beautiful clocks.
My favorite is this Ridgeway Clarksburg Curio Grandfather Clock, which they're selling at a big discount right now. We have a very old house, with a very worn old coat rack setting next to the front door. If I had this clock, it would be goodbye coat rack -- and time would indeed march on right beside my front door.
I even discovered that the 1-800-4clocks.com website has a blog devoted to grandfather clocks. If you think grandfather clocks are just majestic but outdated timepieces -- you need to look at some of the newest features of grandfather clocks mentioned in a recent blog entry. Amazing.
If you're a clock lover, this is a "Useful Website" you don't want to miss.
On the other hand, if you're just a writer who loves deadlines -- what in the world is the matter with you??
